Work it out by hand
Cardology uses one formula, called the solar value:
Solar value = 55 − (2 × month + day)
- Multiply your birth month by 2.
- Add your birth day.
- Subtract the total from 55.
Then find your number in the deck:

| 40–52 | Ace to King of Spades ♠ |
Example, May 8: 2 × 5 + 8 = 18, and 55 − 18 = 37. The 37th card is the 11th Diamond: the Jack of Diamonds.
December 31 is the one exception. It gives 0, which is the Joker.

- Rank is how mature that energy is, from a new start (Ace) to mastery (King).

Can two people share a birth card?
Yes. Several dates share each card. If their zodiac signs differ, their other two cards will too.
Is a birth card the same as a destiny card?
Mostly. "Birth card" means your first card; "Destiny Cards" is the name of the whole system.
What if I was born on February 29?
2 × 2 + 29 = 33, and 55 − 33 = 22: the 9 of Clubs.
